Roria Conquest Progression Checks

When the next route looks closed, work backward from the last badge or story event. Check the interaction trigger, traversal requirement, team preparation and current community guide.

Route diagnosis

Work backward from the last confirmed event

First record the last badge, city, route or story scene you completed. Do not start by wandering every available map. Return to the location where that event ended and check whether an NPC conversation, building exit, item handoff or other interaction still needs to fire. Community walkthroughs can help identify the intended chain, but compare them with what your current upload actually shows.

If the next path is physically blocked, check traversal requirements separately from story requirements. A badge may permit an ability without placing the required item in your inventory, or a route may need both. When a guide gives a location, confirm that it applies to the current Roria upload before spending a long session retracing an old map.

If the path is open but a battle repeatedly stops progress, the problem is now preparation. Check levels, shared type weaknesses, available moves, EV targets and healing resources. A route problem and a team problem can feel identical because both end with the player unable to move forward, but they need different fixes.

Before a gym

Prepare two answers, not one fragile counter

A single favorable matchup can fail because of coverage moves, speed, status or under-training. Prepare one primary answer and a second member that can take over the role. Use the Team Builder to spot a weakness shared across the party, then use the EV guide only after you know which role needs training. This keeps progression work focused instead of grinding every member equally.
